Jim Newheiser Jim was one of the founders of FIRE (Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals ) of which we are a member church. He is a fellow with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors and the author of numerous books including Opening up Proverbs and Opening up 1 Samuel – as well as co-author with Elyse Fitzpatrick on You Never Stop Being a Parent.
